Watermans is a husband and wife family-based hair growth product business, based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, UK.The idea for the business was developed when Matt Waterman and his wife Gail both began suffering from different variations of hair loss, after trying lots of products that are on the market at the moment for hair problems, they could not find anything that did the trick, but wanted something that would be a good all round product that would not only fix one hair problem but a few in one go.
Gail and Matt tried to find the right solution to their hair loss problems, after extensive research and many trials and tribulations none of the products on the market could offer them a solution so they decided to create their own. With Gail’s mixed-race heritage causing fine, weak hair lines and breakages her hair would not grow very long before breaking off and Matt’s increased testosterone levels causing male pattern baldness, they were both struggling to source a product that could help them both. Many hair loss problems are due to underlying scalp conditions, age, race or hormonal irregularities, many of the solely caffeine-based shampoos and formulas simply didn’t work.

With nothing on the market targeting their needs, they were inspired to create their own unique formula that would encourage growth and heal irregular scalp damage in every variation of hair. Blending ancient and modern ingredients the Watermans formula took 2 years to develop, and was initially tested on Gail’s willing salon customers. When they started to see some positive results, and noticed stronger, faster hair growth, Matt tracked down a factory in the UK to help mass produce the amazing blend of ingredients that go into Watermans Hair Growth Shampoos and Conditioners.
