Vision Capital Partners is announcing the acquisition of American Star Funding, LLC. American Star Funding is a direct lending company focused on short-term bridge and long-term loans for commercial real estate. It provides senior secured, asset backed, real estate loans from $250,000 to $25,000,000 for apartments, industrial warehouse, medical, mixed-use and office buildings, retail strip centers, self-storage units and non-owner occupied single family homes.
American Star Financing will be operated under the Vision Commercial Finance umbrella and its clients will now receive all communications from Vision Commercial Finance. Ed Bailey, managing partner of Vision Capital Partners said “We are excited to fully acquire American Star Funding, which we had a smaller investment in prior to the acquisition and we see an opportunity to really grow this company by acquiring it through our Vision Commercial Finance company which also focuses on similar commercial loans.” He further stated “Through Vision Commercial Finance we provide flexible, responsive, creative and forward thinking financing solutions and feel that this acquisition will be a great fit for Vision Capital Partners.”
