United Games will introduce a free new live interactive sports gaming app in October 2016 that seeks to leverage the crowd distribution model. Pioneers will have a vested interested in the company's growth and revenues.

United Games is launching a new live sports gaming app in October 2016. The company has taken a unique approach to marketing their product by targeting millennials and college students who just by sharing the free app will be able to earn a share of the revenue that the company expects to generate.

When the app launches, players will get to interact in real-time with other fans, celebrities, and retired sports professionals to make predictions about specific events like goals scored or penalties incurred, all while watching their favorite teams. The NFL and MLS will be the first of many sports available on launch day.

In 2015 there were more than 100 billion app downloads. Newzoo, a global market intelligence firm that specializes in games, sports and mobile states that “gamers will generate a total of $99.6 billion in revenues in 2016, up 8.5% compared to 2015. For the first time, mobile gaming will take a larger share than PC with $36.9 billion, up 21.3% globally.”

Traditionally, app creators generate revenues by selling ad space on their games. And United Games is no different, but during this pre-launch phase, the company is enlisting millennials and college students as ‘affiliates’ in hopes to dramatically increase the number of downloads and ultimately, players for the game.

With this new form of crowd distribution, both United Games, and their affiliates, will be able to monetize sports and games legally without the need for betting or gambling. The app uses a virtual game currency known as “tokens” that can be earned by viewing sponsored ads or by purchasing tokens. Affiliates are able to share in the company’s revenue.

Entrepreneur and marketing guru, Alan Breen vociferously applauds United Games by claiming that it could be financially beneficial for college students. “Your son and daughter can completely eliminate student debt, just by asking their friends to download a free app that is interactive and fun. They will share in the revenue generated whether their friends play for free or pay to play.”

President and CEO, Jeff Henderson, emphasizes that their app “appeals to people who haven’t liked the aspect of gambling that Fantasy Football contains.” He stresses that the new app from United Games has no wagering or betting and is not gambling in any form, but does allow their affiliates to share in the revenue.

United Games has announced October 10 as the official cut off date to accept new affiliates. Players or hopeful affiliates may text “app” to 26786 or they may visit https://www.unitedgames411.co to learn more.
