Washington D.C. – July 31, 2017 – NANOE National Director, Tracy Ebarb and NANOE Board Chair, Bishop Redfern II announced today that Nominees to NANOE’s Board of Governors will be informed via email on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 of their pending nomination to this year’s prestigious working group.

NANOE Governors will oversee the refinement of the 180 page “New Guidelines for Tomorrow’s Nonprofits – Second Edition” These groundbreaking nonprofit management “guidelines” are based on doctoral research (including a university-led clinical survey of 480 nonprofit executive directors), group interactions with senior leaders at over 300 nonprofit seminars and over 1000 one-on-one interviews with board members, volunteers and nonprofit CEOs. NANOE project leaders captured and recorded what’s going on behind-the-scenes at nonprofits and witnessed firsthand the dismal lack of organization, definition, and attention given to the development of the charitable corporation at the highest levels.

NANOE’s Board Chairman, Bishop Redfern II is passionate about the need for change within the charitable sector. He shared, ““All one has to do is ‘follow the money’ to see why charities remain underfunded. Existing membership associations, for-profit consultants and nonprofit media outlets manipulate charities into purchasing high-priced gimmicks and outdated best practice resources that haven’t worked in decades. They’re ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing’ who openly collude and are accountable to no one. They slap labels like “Standards of Excellence” on snake oil and then line their pockets with monies donors mistakenly thought they were giving to people in need.”
