To Follow in Bob Dylan’s Footsteps, Blossoming Phil Cohen Is a Worthy Contender

The 13.76 million people who tuned in this past Wednesday night to watch David Letterman’s last show with celebrities including Alec Baldwin, Barbara Walters, Steve Martin, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Peyton Manning, Tina Fey, and Bill Murray, saw Bob Dylan pay a touching final tribute to him by singing the song, “The Night We Called It a Day.” It is already well known that Stephen Colbert has been selected to follow in David Letterman’s footsteps when his show begins on September 8. Not so well known is that one worthy contender to follow in Bob Dylan’s footsteps, as a truly remarkable and compelling singer-songwriter of our time, is a blossoming unassuming young singer-songwriter from Vermont now based in New York City – Phil Cohen – who is the featured guest on This Week on Alive with Clive this week and next.

In addition, another talented younger teenager, Amelia Rose Allen, who just received the “Artist of The Month” Award at The Bitter End in its singer-songwriter showcase series, is scheduled to appear on Alive with Clive soon.
