Tim Choiniere, Lorne Geiken, and James Huston were each named 2013 WisewayTransportation Services Driver of the Year for their respective divisions, beating
out 200 other competitors to take home top honors. Company owners, Jeff Wines,
Brett Wines and Bob Schmidt presented Tim the Linehaul Driver of the Year,
Lorne the Peddle/Regional Driver of the Year, and James the City/Consolidation
Driver of the Year awards at the annual awards luncheon. Details about the

Potential award recipients were reviewed by the Director of Operations, Mike Hakes. In order to be in contention for the 2013 Driver of the Year awards drivers were judged on being Internally and externally Customer Driven, a clean motor vehicle record (including no citations or hours of service violations), no preventable accidents, and a high degree of professionalism. Mike Hakes was pleased with the winning driver's performance, saying:
“Our Driver of the Year Award is our favorite and most important recognition for our truck drivers. They all work so hard to provide great customer service while maintaining safe transportation of our client's products.”
