Thermalabs has said that it’s reviewing its global expansion strategy.

Thermalabs, a leading cosmetics brand and a major player in the self-tanning niche has said that it’s re-thinking its global expansion plan. This move comes barely months after the company introduced scores of new products, and announced two new sub-brands. Thermalabs has been doing pretty well for the three years that the company has been in existence. The company’s head-first start in the self-tanning niche was marked with one achievement after the other. An obsession with quality, as well as an ability to devise clever marketing strategies can be seen as two of the greatest skills that the company has mastered.

Thermalabs was launched in New York sometimes in 2013. Back then – the little-known startup had nothing more than a big goal – to contribute to a skin-cancer free world. There were reports that tens of millions of people were dying from skin cancer each year, and Thermalabs was determined to make a difference. Run by a team of young Israeli-Americans, Thermalabs had just enough funds to get the first shot right. Surprisingly, the company did not fail. The first-ever product that Thermalabs introduced to the market was a major hit. Known as America’s Gold Standard Tanner, this was a top-quality lotion that delivered a sexy tan barely four hours after application. The product was created from top-notch ingredients such as Green Tea, Aloe Vera, and Cocoa Butter. Thermalabs had sold over 10, 000 units of this tanner by the end of the first week, which was obviously a news making feat. This helped lay the foundation for the successful company that there’s today.

Thermalabs has in recent years established three new sub-brands: Supremasea, Tent World, and Organic Healthcare. Supremasea is tasked with overseeing the production of the company’s private range of top-quality skincare products based on mineral salts from the Dead Sea. Already, there’s one product in the market under this sub-brand. Tent World is the company’s division that is in charge of its exotic range of beach and sports tents. Thermalabs introduced the Mercury beach tent sometimes towards the end of 2015. This is a proper tent that provides an ideal hiding place after spending some time in the water at the beach. The tent features a protective coating that keeps users’ skin safe from the sun’s rays, as well as an extra-comfortable bottom that is kids friendly. More so, the tent is multi-purpose, which probably has helped make it a top performer on major e-tailing marketplaces. Thermalabs Organic Healthcare was announced just a few weeks ago. This will be an exclusive arm that will focus on handmade healthcare products designed to restore energy and vitality. All the ingredients for these products will be sourced from herbs, seeds, and plants occurring in Israel’s Galilee region.

In a statement distributed to press outlets, Thermalabs coordinator in charge of marketing, Alex Howard, revealed that the company was looking into how it could make each sub-brand more independent. Thermalabs will also be channeling more funds into each sub-brand to be used for prospecting and market expansion goals. These efforts, the company hopes, will help make it the global brand it’s looking to be.
