Travon Toussiant is a young teenage writer gaining praise for his first book, The Unexpected.

Despite his youth, Anthony is launching his dream start-up tech company that is going to go bigger than anyone else. Anthony creates holographic technology that builds his company’s platform into gaining more fans than other tech manufacturer companies. But while he’s getting himself into potential fame, his arch-rival, Spencer, doesn’t want to see him succeed. While running his company and hanging out with a friend, he learns that friends aren’t always a good thing to have. Throughout the story, Anthony runs into shocking hurdles and painful moments that he never expected.

“Anthony certainly does have a lot going on in this book! Fascinated watching the young man who was so nervous about his first day in college became a successful high-tech entrepreneur. The characters are well-developed and authentic, and the plot delivers a lot of high-intensity action and suspense” says the Readers Favorite.

“The Unexpected lives up to its name by offering more than a few unexpected twists and turns. Anthony is a young man who sees his dream fulfilled by owning his own tech company. But then his company starts to fall down the drain thanks to Spencer, and Anthony much face many challenges to save his dream. The chapters were short and to the point but the book flowed easily from one scene into the other. The writing was suitable for teens, not overly complicated or long, but the descriptions were detailed enough to bring the scenes to live. Anthony was an interesting main character, and it was intriguing to see him change and grow throughout the book. A solid mystery for young adults” said Manjanka from iheartreading.net.

“I wrote The Unexpected because I was inspired by a movie called I.T. (2016) that made me think of ideas as I was watching it for the first time” said first time author Travon Toussiant.
