We took it to a beach with few waves and little current and brought long some friends and enjoyed the flamingo for hours. It took about 20 mins to blow up with a hand pump… but we are thinking about picking up an electric pump for our next use. It then took about 30 mins to deflate, but the kids laid on it while it deflated and soaked up some tropical sun. I was surprised at how stable it was… so stable that I let my 15-month-old sit on it supervised with his teenaged sister. (He was wearing a flotation device since this product is not designated as such). I even enjoyed some relaxing time on it… until I was flipped over by some sneaky teens who wanted to steal the raft from momma. Another thing that I really thought made this a quality product was the thickness of the plastic. It was durable enough that I didn’t mind taking it to the beach and let the kids drag it through the sand and rocks. They even played with it in the driveway. All in all, I would certainly buy one of these again!”
