Starplex Cinemas announced today that they will offer free admission with one canned good item per person on December 22, 2014 and December 23, 2014 for entry to the Winter Family Fun Series at select locations. The initiative aims to benefit local food pantries during the upcoming holiday season."In an effort to help local food pantries this holiday season,” said COO Tod Hanna, “Starplex Cinemas is offering free admission to two popular holiday classics in exchange for a minimum of one can good at several of our locations.”
At select locations, Starplex will offer “Elf” on December 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. and “The Grinch who Stole Christmas” on December 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. this year. Admission to both films will require one canned good donation per person. This year the following locations will be participating: Berlin 12, Boerne Cinemas 11, Brazos Stadium 14, Brunswick Square Luxury Cinemas, Lake Worth Movies, Normal Stadium 14, Springfield 11 IMAX, Waco Galaxy 16, and Westpointe 10.
