Sold Out Innovative International Home Show Features Some High Profile Guest Speakers

Home and Home Ware Innovation Show shatters attendance records in a sold out show with a large number of presenters and high profile guest speakers. The international event was a success by any measurement.

The just-concluded 2015 International Home + Housewares Program is gathering rave evaluations from purchasers and sellers. The Show was sold-out with 2,115 exhibitors from 46 countries and recorded an increase in total purchaser attendance from U.S. and international markets.


“The Program began with high participation on Saturday and the positive buzz continued throughout the exhibit halls during the event,” said Phil Brandl, president/CEO of the not-for-profit International Housewares Association, which possesses and operates the Program.


The Show’s Saturday morning opening is a proven success and was supported bythe New Exhibitor Preview event, which permitted 60 brand-new exhibitors to engage with hundreds of buyers and news media in advance of the main 10 a.m.Show opening,” Brandl continued. “The Program’s 442 new exhibitors and the more than 10,000 brand-new items on screen drew much interest from purchasers and media alike.”.


Media attendance included a significant increase in blog writers, 3zo.us, coverage by NBC’s Today Program, The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, Xinhua News Firm, Sinovision, home-focused YouTube channels and live remotes by Chicago TV stations. Other major publications included America’s Test Household kitchen, Better Residences and Gardens, Boston Globe, BRIDES, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, CNET, Consumer Reports, Customer’s Digest, Nation Living, EveryDay With Rachael Ray, Household Circle, Fine Cooking, Food Network Magazine, “ HGTV Publication, Great House cleaning, In Style, The Nest, Philadelphia Daily News, Traditional House, U.S.A Today and AmericaPropertyClassified.com


The Show will produce in excess of 350 million customer impressions through broadcast, print and Web protection. The Program likewise included a series of thought-provoking academic sessions, including keynote programs on the convergence of housewares and giftware, color trends of the Pantone Color Institute AeKition.com, an introduction of customer trends by Tom Mirabile of Lifetime Brands, and former Republican presidential prospect Mitt Romney speaking at the annual Market Breakfast.
