Skylark Senior Care and Ned Morgens are pleased to announce that their services include both home care and adult day care at the center. At each center and available in the home, there are registered and licensed nurses to provide educational programs, manage daily health needs, and attend emergencies. There are also social workers to provide family support and assist with care plans. Activities professionals conduct personalized activity programs. Each client has a program with activities designed holistically around the specific loved one's abilities and interests. The program promotes individual and group activities that consider the entire person, including creative, physical, spiritual, social and emotional.
Some of the activities which may form a customized program include art projects, music concerts, and performances, range of motion exercises, indoor golf, bowling and a summer golf league. Technology interests are available, including connecting with grandchildren on Facebook.
Patients with Alzheimers and Dementia are offered a brain fitness class, art programs, and a special relaxation room. For seniors who are higher functioning and more able-bodied, the “Out to Lunch Bunch” may be of interest. Within the center, there is joy, activity, laughter and social connections.
