Following the success of the premier episode, social memorial platform Qeepr will be hosting the second edition of their #Talkdeath web series, a live online roundtable discussion between the public and death professionals. The panel discussion focusing on issues surrounding death and dying will take place on Wednesday, June 17th at 3pm EST/12pm UTC and will be broadcast on Google+ and streamed live via YouTube.

“The Doyenne of Death” and author of A Good Goodbye: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don’t Plan to Die, Gail Rubin, has been selected as a panelist for the June #Talkdeath edition. Rubin proclaims that “…talking about sex won’t make you pregnant, and talking about funerals and end-of-life issues won’t make you dead.” After five years of holding conversations on death and dying, Rubin jokes that she is “living proof of this proposition” and expressed that she is “looking forward to engaging with lots of folks during this roundtable!”.

Current editor of About.com’s Death & Dying section and past editor the world’s most widely read funeral professional magazine, The Director, Chris Raymond will be the second #Talkdeath panel member. Raymond has spoken with audiences, funeral service professionals and consumers alike, on numerous death and dying related topics. Raymond expressed that “Qeepr’s #Talkdeath roundtable offers a great opportunity to get honest, objective answers to anything you wanted to know about dying, funerals and grief but were afraid to ask”.

As part of Qeepr’s goal to encourage death positivity, #Talkdeath’s presents viewers with a means of engaging with death experts in a safe and mutually respectful environment. The #Talkdeath web series will provide the viewing public with the opportunity to ask the panelists questions before the event and in real time via social media. This original format allows for honest and open discussion about all topics surrounding death and dying.

The #Talkdeath Roundtable discussion with Gail Rubin and Chris Raymond can be streamed live via Google+ and YouTube on Wednesday, June 17th at 3pm EST/12pm UTC. The public can ask their questions to the panel starting now via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram by including the hashtag #Talkdeath. Viewers can RSVP to the live event here.
