ProEnc partner with leading projector manufacturer to provide protection to over $780,000 of projectors in a desert location. They provided 57 outdoor projector enclosures that needed to work in temperatures up to 60C.

ProEnc recently quoted a large project in co-ordination with Christie projectors in the Middle East for 57 weatherproof housings for Christie D12WU-H projectors.

The initial enquiry came from Christie and after crating a mock up unit with AC, it was deployed and tested in the one of the hottest demanding climates in the world, were temperatures can reach 60C.

The projector housings had been made from steel and powder coated, as they had to be buried to form a slight mound in the surrounding area. Access to the protective housing was through high security locks, ensuring the hardware was secure. The AC was filtered, to once the hot air had been exhausted out of the enclosure, clean cool air was pumped in providing the ideal surrounds for the valuable hardware.

The AC could be monitored remotely and even closed down should the occasion call for this.

Each housing had to also be fitted with soundproof, to ensure the area was as quiet as possible; this is when ProEnc introduced their Wispr enclosure.

The projectors had to be deployed over 4 acres of land, in an ancient area of architectural interest, this was another reason the housings had to have the best possible air conditioning facility possible.

From the initial enquiry to sample and commissioning ProEnc delivered the project below budget and in 8 weeks.

Dale Edwards technical director of ProEnc Ltd said, “today is the start of a wonderful partnership, not only do we work with Christie and Barco but also other leading projector manufacturers to provide a cost effective solution. As the leading projector enclosure manufacturer in the world, ProEnc provides a solid solution for any weather condition at an affordable price.”

ProEnc also have launched a partner program, for resellers to take their product, ensuring the outdoor projector cases are available locally anywhere in the world with in a 3 day turn-around time. Dale stated, “ProEnc wins business by offering a prompt and expedited service, we are in a fortunate position as we can turn complete custom solutions around in 2 weeks, from approval of drawings.”

ProEnc completed the project on December 21st 2016 after a 2 week commissioning period in the Middle East. More details can be seen on their website http://proencltd.com including their range of weatherproof and soundproof projector cases.
