ProEnc has launced their home outdoor projector enclosure range (HomeEnc), on the back of the successes of the ProEnc range of commercial projector housings, more information can be found at http://proencltd.com.
ProEnc has had a huge success in that last 2 years manufacturing their outdoor projector housings for outdoor event specialists throughout the world. Now they have developed an outdoor projector housing for the home market, called the HomeEnc now anyone can extend their home entertainment system outdoors.
ProEnc’s projector cases allowing home owners now to install projectors outdoors in their backyard, patio or by their pool, extending their home entertainment system outdoors. The CTO at ProEnc, Dale Edwards makes a point of saying “things were always going to change when ProEnc launched their outdoor projector enclosures for the home owner”.
Dale Edwards continues… “Where most people will likely see any competitors doing the same old thing, ProEnc wanted to add all the electronics and security measures right out the box. ProEnc do this because they believe everything should be included and this has been their ethos for 23 years manufacturing weatherproof housings for leading brands such as Nokia, Samsung and Alcatel. Ultimately ProEnc knew it was going to be of huge benefit to their customers, because it allows standard projectors to be used outdoors in any weather, for any event or advertising purpose. ProEnc actually hope others follow suit.”
ProEnc has worked with many charities donating their projector cases (HomeEnc) to many worthwhile causes, the most recent being “Make A Wish”, trying to bring a smile to a young girls face who’s suffering from Rett Syndrome. Dale Edwards commented ‘if using a HomeEnc housing can bring 1 smile to this young girls face, ProEnc has done their job and it has been worth it to be part of this project.”
The HomeEnc will accommodate any projector up to 20″ wide x 20″ deep x 11″ high, perfect for the ideal outdoor home cinema, these can be mounted to walls, under pergolas or under an awning. It comes as standard with thermostatic cooling system as the commercial grade unit has, so it is tried and tested in some extreme environments.
ProEnc’s group of companies has been established in October 2009 and in that time has diversified into different industries, their new aim with HomeEnc is to provide outdoor projector enclosures to all homes in America. Previously no other option was available, now any projector from 2,000 ansi lumens to 50,000 ansi lumens can be installed outdoors and in all weathers without the risk of projector failure.
ProEnc’s event products are made from steel, with high security locks, this is essential (to have high security) especially when some installers are integrating projectors that cost in excess of $50,000 into the outdoor projector cases. Cooling is filtered, preventing air borne debris entering the housing and when the internal thermostat reaches the pre-set temperature the cooling system kicks in and cools the inside of the housing, expelling the warm air out of the housing. On the flip side ProEnc also fit as standard thermostatic heater that prevents condensation build up as well as protecting the hardware during cold months.
ProEnc created their product (HomeEnc) after seeing a gap in the outdoor home entertainment industry, ProEnc’s outdoor projector enclosures have been deployed in Australia, North America, Canada, Asia, Sweden, Finland and across Europe and specifically designed for the home market. This alone was enough to make ProEnc’s project wins easier with home owners and business owners who want to use projectors for outdoor home entertaining or for outdoor marketing. Now people are using them in their backyards, for events such as birthday parties and even for outdoor advertising, maximizing their spare time and enjoying their outdoor home entertainment system.
