The new website was necessary because the company had grown exponentially and the older site was no longer able to meet demand.Edward Endzel, Managing Director, explained: "It was time for us all at Patio Furniture Defined to acknowledge that we had moved from a small start up company to a true, solid small business. Our website had to reflect this, yet we were finding that we were having to make unwelcome choices, such as keeping our stock low or not being able to provide our customers with information. Our new site should resolve all of these issues."
The new website will still contain everything customers have gotten used to in the past. There will be information around the best maintenance free outdoor furniture, for instance, as well as purchasing options for furniture that fits those requirements. Besides this, however, there will be a huge range of information in terms of why certain materials are more maintenance free than others and what sort of maintenance, no matter how minimal, is required. Not only, for instance, will the website explain that it is necessary to treat teak furniture with teak oil, it will also explain at which time of the year this should be done and how often and what types of cloths should be used, it will also give the customers the opportunity to select the teak oil that is best suited to their needs.
Edward Endzel added: "We want to make sure that customers know exactly what they are choosing and why, and we want to make sure that they never face any nasty surprises. When a company like our announces new site development, customers expect it to be a massive improvement on the previous site, and this is exactly what we hope to deliver."
Another improvement is that their range of really comfortable outdoor furniture will be expanded. A lot of customers felt that the previous range was exclusive, in as such that it only suited a certain style or a certain budget. Now, however, Patio Furniture Defined has a much larger range of products, meaning that anybody should be able to find what they need, at a price they can afford. Whether it be cheep but cheerful plastic furniture or Victorian wrought iron designs, it can all be found on the new website.
