Ft. Worth, Texas is not known as a breeding ground for artists, especially for those in the hip hop genre. In fact, many artists are forced to leave the Ft. Worth, Texas area in order to succeed. However, rising hip hop artist P.A.T, aka Patrick A. Barnett may be changing all of that. This Operation OIF/OEF war veteran with the USAF, turned hip hop artist is receiving notoriety for his compelling lyricism and stylish sound. He is quickly up and coming with even online music service Pandora giving him his own channel.
NME Magazine printed, “This young rapper delivers the goods in a manner that all can understand and without all of the obscenities that we’ve grown accustomed to in hip hop.”
