Beaverton, November 20 – Irene Immink, founder of Outdoor Achievement has announced that the 12 ounce Outdoor Bottle is on sale via Amazon for 4% lower than original price of $10.99
As reason for the sale she says: “Unfortunately, something went wrong during the manufacturing process that resulted in printing incorrect 5oz, 9oz, 13oz and 17oz markings on the 12oz bottles”.
The 12 ounce durable water bottle is the first product by Outdoors Achievement. When Immink found out about the incorrect ounce marketings, she had to make the decision to eliminate the complete stock or to keep it available for customers.
The founder chose to keep it available for customers and to sell the 12 ounce bottles for a lower price. It was as not an easy choice because her mission is to deliver high quality durable water bottles to customers. But destruction of 1000 good water bottles that are technically perfect – only due wrong markings – would be against her mission to reduce waste and to spare resources.
Immink says: “So far I don’t regret to sell the bottles because I got the first reviews for the bottles by customers, which are great. Despite the incorrect markings most people who bought them are happy with the Outdoor Bottle and don’t have a problem with the incorrect ounce markings.”
The 12 ounce bottle is a great size for kids that are outdoors and active.The sale runs till the current stock is sold out. In January Outdoors Achievement introduces a bigger 20 ounce size of the Outdoor Bottle that is suitable for adults.
