OptiGraphics wins the Gold in the 2014 Suppliers Achievement Award Competition sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI).

OptiGraphics, a specialist in lenticular and holographic printing processes, was awarded Gold in the 2014 Suppliers Achievement Award Competition, which was sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). The annual awards presentation, at The PPAI Expo 2014, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, on January 15, 2014 recognized 63 Gold and Silver winners.

Each year the PPAI Suppliers Achievement Award winners are recognized and honored for their contributions, in terms of superior graphic arts, craftsmanship, innovation, service and creativity. This year's winners were selected by a panel of judges who represented independent and industry professionals from the marketing and advertising world.

“OptiGraphics is a thought-leading organization that embodies the initiative, vision and innovation defining the promotional products industry,” said Paul Bellantone, CAE, president and CEO at PPAI. “We are pleased the Suppliers Achievement Awards competition is encouraging excellence and delivering exposure for these deserving award winners. It is through these achievements that promotional products continue to play an essential role in successful marketing and branding strategies.”

OptiGraphics' award was made in the category of special processes, for its superior 3D lenticular printing processes. Lenticular printing is ideal for campaigns where the way a product works needs to be demonstrated. 3D images seem to move around when the object it tilted, the person moves or the point of view changes.

On a primal level the human eye is attracted to objects that move, so lenticular printing has seen an overwhelming amount of interest from the marketing and advertising industries.

In business for 44 years, OptiGraphics has dominated the printing industry with its innovative printing products. Its patented RevealSeries, which consists of the highly specialized products: ScentReveal, ScratchReveal, DarkReveal, Red Reveal, WaterReveal, LightReveal and ThermoReveal has reinvented the way that companies can use marketing collateral to reach out to their clients. Due to superior printing technologies and research, these processes make use of different sensorial stimuli to market products.

The OptiChrome process is an industry innovation within itself, shining new light on the methods that can be employed to attract consumer attention. This 3D chrome printing process is ideal for reflective signage and branding. It delivers intense product marketing that draws the eye in and literally highlights the product. It incorporates metallic printing to provide depth and an elegant 3D effect.

The printing applications are suitable for branding and signage, direct mail marketing campaigns, newsletter, flyer and brochure printing, as well as for placements in print media. As the print industry reacts to the integration of a digital landscape, companies that want to employ different tactics to speak to their target prospects are turning to OptiGraphics for unique and novel ways to promote their products.

“If printing is to take any lessons out of the digital handbook, it certainly is that a fully immersive experience is essential to leverage full customer integration,” says Paul Bellantone. Making use of light, scratch and darkness-activated printing techniques, as well as scented and 3D chrome or embossed printing, organizations certainly can emulate that fully immersive product experience.
