Common Lot was named one of The 25 Best Restaurants of 2016, beating out 100’s of other restaurants to take home top honors. Chef Ehren Ryan of Common Lot was pleased about the company’s performance, saying:

Chef Ehren runs the back of the house while Wife Nadine runs the front and are both committed to amazing food and service. Ehren has trained at top Michelin restaurants in Sydney, London, the Channel Islands and Austria, including Heston Blumenthal’s London restaurant. Nadine worked at the luxury Kristiania Hotel in Lech, Austria.
The surroundings are elegant but unpretentious; comfortable but handsome — an expression of their personalities and their commitment to the dining experience. They have created a relaxed, convivial environment with minimalist design, unexpected finishes, natural materials, texture and light. Check out the upstairs Library, which features a selection of Ehren’s extensive and beloved collection of cookbooks; Their dry-aged room; the four-seat ‘Kitchen Pass’ with its intimate perspective on meal preparation; and the main dining room, with its view to the buzz of the open kitchen.
Their credo reads “Even the most beautifully prepared meal can’t be fully appreciated until people gather to enjoy it. That’s why each item on this menu, every nuance of the space around you was created with one truth in mind: The best way to eat good food is together.”
Common Lot opened their doors in March and since proven themselves as one of the top Millburn NJ restaurants and top restaurants in NJ altogether.
