The New York personal injury law firm of Kenneth A. Wilhelm obtained a $4,625,000 settlement for their client who was injured in a street intersection collision in Brooklyn. The plaintiff had filed a personal injury lawsuit (Index number: 8415/2014) in Kings County Supreme Court alleging negligence on the part of a van driver who rear-ended the vehicle he was driving at a Brooklyn street intersection. According to court documents, the plaintiff suffered injuries that required him to have neck and back surgeries.

Wilhelm said many people tend to incorrectly assume that rear-end cases are simple or straightforward because of the widespread notion that the driver who rear-ends another vehicle would almost always be deemed at fault.
