The Bidahari area used to be home to a massive cemetery in the center of Singapore. A few years back, the graves were exhumed to make way for development.
The newest of these is The Poiz Residences and Poiz Centre, a new mixed development by MCC Land. While not exactly sitting on the Bidahari site, it is a stone’s throw away at Potong Pasir and is set to bring life and excitement to the entire vicinity.
There are a number of reasons this mega development will make the whole area come alive when launched in end November 2015, starting with the idea for the development.
This came about after the realization that there is lack of a good-size commercial and residential development in the Potong Pasir area. Suburban centers in other areas already have similar hubs that draw a lot of people and activities to it.
With the launch of The Poiz Residences and Poiz Centre, MCC Land has built a development that differs from other real estate in the precinct. The new project will be the first to integrate a mall with residences in this location.
“The Poiz Residences and Poiz Centre comprises 731 residences and 84 shops, along with comprehensive condo facilities. Residents will be able to enjoy the convenience of having a wide selection of shops and eateries downstairs”, says SH Lim, Marketing Director.
The new development will also have a MRT (subway) station at its doorstep, so travelling to any part of the island nation will be a breeze. This is on top of its location on the fringe of the city which makes it just a few minute’s drive from the city center.
Schools in the vicinity include the Stamford American International School and The St Andrew schools and junior college.
The Poiz Residences and Poiz Centre got its start when founder MCC Land noticed the need for an integrated development in an area that has not be seeing much activity. With 5 years prior experience in the real estate industry, MCC Land decided to go ahead and launch in 2015.
