Children’s author and publisher Susan Mason is launching her brand-new book, “Life According to Zoe”. The book is set to go live next Monday, 29th May. The book is available online through Amazon. and is expected to become a big hit with fans of the Children’s Book and Dog-Lovers world.

More information on the book can be found here: Life According to Zoe

This is the third book Mrs Mason has authored. The aim of the book is to celebrate life in a tale of teenage challenge, friendship and acceptance, as seen through the eyes of a Labrador puppy. Excitement also surrounds this book launch because it is the author’s first release in the short novel genre.

Life According to Zoe sets its main focus on the new kid in town, a mysterious girl, and the Labrador puppy who brings them together. Readers will likely find a particular interest in the reason Jade broke up with her boyfriend Brett. The book’s cover art was created by Nathan Dasco and Life According to Zoe is being released by Bubble Bargains.

Susan Mason has a background in dog ownership – a yellow Labrador to be precise! This helped shaped the creation of the book, as she wanted to share all the endearing antics and pure joi de vivre of the family pet with children and other dog-loving readers.

When asked about why she wrote the book, Mrs Mason said: “What started as a simple dog story grew, as the characters took shape, into a life-affirming tale of teenage challenge and friendship.”

The author hopes the book will be an entertaining and uplifting experience for readers. This positive outlook from the author is certainly testament to her optimism considering some of the mishaps during its creation. At one point, for example, it looked like the author would not be able to use the Goth girl cover image she had so carefully chosen, because it was proving difficult to get in touch with the photographer to get the permission required to use it. Right at the last minute though, he replied in the affirmative, and we have the stunning book cover that has been published today.

In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking her husband, her father-in-law and her friend Clare O’Connell, who had all gladly proof-read the manuscript and given her helpful feedback. Susan Mason also thanked her editor for her part in the creation of the book, saying: “Thank you, Lesley, for your challenge and encouragement.”
