AERO is releasing three new, state of the art, aeroponics growing systems, where people can grow fresh herbs and vegetables all year long inside their own home.

Sam Stoltzfus and Frank Fendler, co-owners of AERO, are passionate about their innovative designs for the next generation of Aeroponics growing. In 2009, Sam began this venture with an eye towards a cleaner, healthier approach to agriculture that would go beyond the fields, beyond hydroponics and onto rooftops, and into the homes of people all over the world.

Sam and Frank are not the first people to try to grow plants without soil. Originally, hydroponics was the process of growing plants with their roots submerged in water rather than dirt. Aeroponics has emerged from this methodology and effectively eliminates the challenges associated with plants sitting in water all the time. Utilizing their patented vertical growing system designs, plants are literally hanging in the air while their roots are being fed every 15-30 minutes with natural, chemical free nutrients, while having all the oxygen they need for super healthy growth. The onsite greenhouse at Sunset View Growers in Whitehorse, PA has provided the ideal environment for them to perfect this time tested system that has proven to be highly effective for growing all type of herbs and vegetables both commercially and for in home applications.

The result of these five years of research, development and testing has prepared AERO to release three new residential aeroponics growing systems. AERO is also offering turnkey commercial growing systems for new and existing greenhouses.

Here is a brief overview of the three residential systems:

AEROGreen System

The AEROGreen System allows people to grow up to 72 plants at a time, giving people the ability to rotate crops and always have fresh produce available. It fits easily on urban patios, decks, porches, balconies, terraces, or rooftops.

AEROGreen Flat Panel System

The AEROGreen Flat Panel System allows people to grow up to 31 plants at a time on one flat side, which means that it can be placed up against a wall.

AEROGreen Tabletop System

The AEROGreen Tabletop System is perfect if space is an issue. It has 12 grow cups to grow plants and can easily be placed on top of a table or a wider windowsill.

All three of these residential systems are soil-free, which means that there is no weeding, tilling, kneeling, or getting dirty. These systems produce crops in less time that what it takes to grow in soil. These systems are so easy to operate and maintain that there’s no prior gardening experience required. Not only is it affordable and economical, it also provides people that are living in populated areas to be able to grow their own produce in the convenience of the home!
