Lifestyle products designer and manufacturer LIFE have launched their Kickstarter campaign for Zencube, the world’s first smart Himalayan salt lamp - and met their funding target in less than 15 hours.Boasting an elegant contemporary design, whilst harnessing the natural benefits of pure Himalayan crystal salt, the lamp’s RGB LED bulb can be controlled by an app to change into any color - matching mood or surroundings - making it the must-have mood enhancer for the home.

CBS Nightly News reported as far back as 1995 that exposure to an abundance of positive ions was shown to lead to anxiety, depression,, insomnia, migraines, and asthma attacks. Since that report, the amount of computers and electronic devices emitting positive ions in the average home and workplace has increased more than tenfold.
According to a 2013 Nutrition Review report, “…negative ions [have] long been associated with improvements in mood and physical health. Research conducted in the last decade has begun to support the view that negative ions have a net positive effect on health.”
