Mel B shoots her new video at the American Movie Company Green Studios here in New York City.
— She shouldn’t need an introduction, but here are a few facts in case you do.
Mel B, as she is widely known, is a British singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, actress, author, and television personality. She rose to fame and fortune as Scary Spice, 1/5th of the 90’s sensation Spice Girls. She launched her solo career with the successful single “I Want You Back” featuring Missy Elliot. She followed it up with 3 solo albums featuring other hit singles. She’s expanded her interests since 2000, though. Mel B has been involved with several “contest” TV shows since then, starting with being a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. She turned the tables after, becoming a judge on The X Factor Australia and replacing Sharon Osbourne on America’s Got Talent. She has held on to that zany, irrepressible personality that won us all over as Scary Spice. Her latest project? An app aimed at making us all look as good as she does, “Get Fit with Mel B”!
Black Bean Games shot Mel B’s brand new iPhone app “Get Fit With Mel B” here in the American Movie Company Studio in Manhattan. The AR “Augmented Reality” app is available at the Apple Store.
After the hit videogame “Get Fit With Mel B”, the amazing new app actually takes the player right inside the screen to train side-by-side with the superstar Spice Girl, who helps you learn special dance workouts and provides you with a state-of-the-art nutritional program. Lightning Fish created this exciting AR iPhone app to enable players to keep on track with their fitness goals, and monitor their progress both online and on the app. It includes Mel B’s new “slim” recipes and creative suggestions for a lifestyle that’s healthy and fun.
The Mel B video game also gives those using it exclusive access to a hidden section of her product website. Users can create their own private profile, and store personal fitness data along with access to even more healthy living information.
Scary Spice no longer – Mel B has evolved and wants you to join her!
