The newly released mobile computing technology and support for ICD-10 codes helps make practices more efficient and helps to manage the increasing regulatory compliance requirements. Medisoft v20 comes with a brand new patient intake mobile application for iPad and Android. This automates the information-gathering process with patients leaving medical professionals with more time and reducing staff costs.
A staff member can simply hand a patient the mobile device, and through the Medisoft Mobile application they can enter their new information and edit already existing information in Medisoft. The patient’s information is then transferred directly into Medisoft for validation and application to their account. This allows front office staff to focus their time on more productive tasks making any medical practice more efficient and profitable.
There are also efficiency additions for working medical professionals. Medisoft Mobile, a mobile application for the iPhone or iPad, allows medical professionals to view their schedule and to transmit and charges they make using a phone or tablet.
Revenue management has also been ramped up with the new v20 version of Medisoft. The software allows pre-claim editing so filings can be reviewed for errors before they’re submited for payment.
