Long-Time Internet Marketer Shares the Wealth and Releases Business-Friendly .COM Bundle for Auction

Investors looking for aged, niche .COM names are in luck. A long time internet marketing guru, who has collected many domain names over for years, has started to liquidate his domain inventory and has put a bundle of them up for auction.

Arroyo Grande, CA Feb. 28, 2015 Perhaps spurred by the recovery of the domain name market in recent months, a long-time Internet marketer is auctioning a business-friendly bundle of related aged .com domain names. Each of the domain names are versatile enough to fit several niche markets, though taken together they are an ideal package for a marketer in the wedding or event-planning business, which is a $51 billion annual industry.

The domain name auction bundle includes the names: BusinessBridal.com, WeddingScheduling.com, PartyOrganizing.com, BabyPrintShoppe.com and PurchaseLatest.com. BabyPrintShoppe.com is a 12-year-old registration. The remaining four domain names have been registered for 9 years. Each of them also retains regular natural traffic of nearly 1,000 visitors per week, based mostly on the keywords contained in the names. These highly desirable brand-ready domain names can easily be developed around multiple niche business ideas, or sold for a profit.

Domain name sales used to make headlines regularly as popular domains, particularly single word “dictionary” domains, commanded high prices, but the demand for specific domains has waned in the past few years. Recent domain name auctions, however, appear to signal a turn-around in the domain name market. In February, a few high-profile sales made headlines with six-figure price tickets. Notably, a two-word domain name, homecare.com brought in one of the highest bids, selling for $350,000. This new trend is an exception to traditional wisdom, which suggests that generic, single-word domain names, such as auto.com, are in the most demand.

What is even more notable than the few six-figure sales, however, is the increase in the number of domain name sales, and the average and median selling prices for those sales. Since December, domain name auctions and expired domain name sales have picked up considerably, and prices are once again starting to climb. The biggest winners appear to be high-demand exact-keyword domain names, with many of them selling in the mid four- to five-figure range. This bodes well for domain name investors who are more interested in purchasing the rights to a domain name for its resale value than for its intrinsic value, as it suggests that each of the names in this five-domain business bundle is likely to appreciate in value.

ABOUT AUCTION: The special domain name auction for this five-name domain bundle has just begun on Flippa.com and will continue for 30 days. The bundle features a low reserve bid, and the BulkRegister.com domain registrations will be transferred to the winning bidder at the conclusion of the auction.
