The 13th Annual Brevard Lawride, which pays respect to fellow fallen officers will be held on April 11, 2015.

Sinclair Law has been a proud supporter of the Brevard Lawride program for the past five years. The Brevard Lawride will begin with registration at The American Police Hall of Fame and Museum, 6350 Horizon Dr. Titusville, FL at 8:30 am. The ride starts at 10:30 am. This year’s event specifically honors Deputy Dan Thrush, #291, Escort Team Member, MOTOR 3.

The Brevard Lawride supports several law enforcement agencies that help families of officers that have been killed in the line of duty, as well as The American Police Hall ofFame and Museum. As a non-profit organization, the museum has created a memorial to all recorded law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. They display decades of memorabilia and seek to educate the public and children by the information and artifacts they display. More information on museum can be found at www.aphf.org.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial’s goal generates increased public support for law enforcement officers in various branches of service. They record, commemorate the service of officers, and provide valuable information to help promote law enforcement safety. For more information on them, visit their website at www.nleomf.com.

The Brevard Lawride also helps the Central Florida C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors), a non-profit organization that assists families of fallen officers that have been killed in the line of duty. They provide counseling for co-workers as well as for families, and many other valuable resources. Their websites are www.nationalcops.org and www.cflcops.org.

Sinclair Law will have a booth at the event and will provide koozies. There will also be other vendors at the event. Tee shirts, patches, decals, and other items will be available. There will also be live music provided by Doc Holiday, a raffle, a 50-50 raffle, and many freebies. The event will be fun for the whole family and help support the law enforcement professionals that serve and protect.

Seventeen Law Enforcement officers have been killed in the line of duty in Brevard County. Come out and pay respect to Deputy Dan Thrush, the other brave officers, and their families. This event will be the largest Law Enforcement event of the year in Brevard County. Enjoy a beautiful day and the pageantry of the bikes and bikers as they commemorate the local heroes.
