Listen Up Español Joins National #GivingTuesday

Leading Spanish Call Center and Online Marketer encourages employees to spend with a purpose.

Listen Up Español will join forces with charities, families, businesses, and individuals to transform how people think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season. #GivingTuesday inspires people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and Listen Up Español is on board. “Our core value of “Going Beyond Ourselves” aligns with the purpose of #GivingTuesday which provided an opportunity for both of our U.S. and Mexico employees to participate.” said Tony Ricciardi, President of Listen Up Español.

Locally, Listen Up Español partnered with the Preble Street Soup kitchen. Everyday more than 1,100 meals are served to homeless and low-income adults, children, and families. In Mexico, employees have set up a donate a toy table and will be giving to a local charity in Hermosillo, MX.

Seeing an opportunity to channel the generous spirit of the holiday season, thought leaders in philanthropy, social media, and grassroots organizing joined together to explore what is working in modern philanthropy and how to expand these innovations throughout the philanthropic sector. By bringing together a group of founding partners-including United Nations Foundation, DonorsChoose.org, Mashable, Blackbaud, charity:water, GlobalGiving, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), Kiva, Darden Restaurant Group, Groupon, Unilever, and Venture Three Capital- nationwide discussions occur to make #GivingTuesday a success. Now each week, new organizations join the movement and are providing creative ways people can embrace #GivingTuesday and Listen Up Español is no different.
