Lighthouse Private Christian Academy is pleased to announce the opening of their latest campus, the first private high school in south Santa Rosa County. This new location, like all of the campuses, will be accepting all Florida Scholarships and has an academic emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). In addition, Lighthouse has a very strong focus on athletics. This new private high school is operating from a 8,000 square-foot Gulf Breeze property with sixteen acres. Their plans are to utilize this land to build a football field, baseball diamonds and a track. This is the fifth campus of Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, which is one of the most successful non-denominational Christian schools in the area. The new Lighthouse “Stingray” weight room and plans for the new fields show promise towards making this new location the athletic hub for the Academy.The illustrious journey of Lighthouse Academy started in 2004 after the Hurricane Ivan. Thirteen years down the line, the academy has made serious grounds in terms of providing extraordinary education to their students. With their compassionate environment and exceptional care, Lighthouse Academy actively assists the spiritual development of their students. In addition to a Christian instructional curriculum, they also provide opportunities for the students to pursue their own open-ended research. Beyond the core subjects, the Academy offers enrichment classes which include student government, debate, community outreach, art, music, Spanish, computer coding, zoology, and agriculture.
