“After a successful marketing campaign throughout 2012, Q Language has secured itself as the ‘go to’ place for overseas students wishing to come and experience language study in Hong Kong.” said Stuart McCutcheon, Q Language Group Director.
Traditionally, Q Language has catered mainly to students wanting to learn English in Hong Kong
(www.qlanguage.com.hk/english-courses), but the phenomenon of ‘K-Pop’ and the rise of Chinese in the business world has caused a surge in interest in Korean and Mandarin Chinese courses in Hong Kong and Q Language has adapted to meet that change.
"Our Korean and Mandarin Chinese courses are currently more popular than at any time in our history and we now welcome a much wider range of students from all over the world. In fact, this surge has resulted in our teacher faculty jumping by 80% in 2012 alone!” said Stuart.
The expansion of the school premises was also due to the increasing numbers of students deciding to continue studies at Q Language for much longer than their original plans.
