FutureShapers founder John Renesch announced today that his co-founder, Thomas L. Eddington, will be the founding Chief Executive Officer for the San Francisco-based company. “Tom has lived, worked and studied on six continents. He’s worked with leaders across all industry sectors and organization stages of development,” stated Renesch. “Given our vision for being a global company, Tom is a perfect fit as our CEO. He has been focused on the area of consciousness and conscious leadership over the past two decades.”
Eddington added, “I’m honored to be assuming this role. Bringing more conscious leadership to organizations is critical at this time in human history. Leaders are faced with such a dire set of challenges—over population, climate change, economic collapse, systems failure, demographic shifts and technology disruption. How leaders navigate these challenges will impact the success or failure of their organizations.”
Renesch, considered an elder in the conscious leadership movement, acknowledged that he is very pleased to have the younger Eddington at the helm of FutureShapers. “I’ve been writing and giving talks about conscious leadership for thirty years or so. Tom has lots of corporate experience and corporate leadership is where there is the greatest need for a consciousness shift. It is time to start putting these principles to work and really change the world! After all, corporations are running the world so let’s help them be as conscious as possible for all of our sakes.”
