"In my previous occupation, I worked with medications that help patients get healthy," said Chen. "This is no different. The Juisir makes healthy living and a healthy diet accessible to those who would otherwise have not enough time for it."
Thanks to a new technology that uses pressing rather than blending, every drop of juice is extracted from the fruit and vegetables introduced into the machine. Unlike conventional juicers, Chen's invention uses a bag as a container for the fruits and vegetables. This recyclable bag prevents the leftovers from ever getting in contact with the Juisir, thus eliminating any need for cleaning the machine itself.
