Beverly Hills, CA, January 24, 2015 Lara Fabian has announced the North American tour dates for her upcoming spring tour. The internationally renowned pop singer, who is the best-selling Belgian female artist of all time, will make stops in Toronto, Atlantic City, Hollywood, Richmond, BC and Beverly Hills before returning to Europe to complete the overseas leg of her tour. In the wake of the release of her 2014 EP, “Make Me Yours Tonight”, Fabian’s popularity is higher than ever, and tickets for Lara Fabian concert tickets are at a premium, according to online ticket broker ConcertBank.com.
Fabian, began her North American career with the release of a self titled album in 1991. That album, released in Canada under her own label, sold more than 100,000 copies that year, and went gold in 1992 and platinum in 1993. Her success was fueled by radio play, and with the popularity of songs like “Qui pensealíamour” and “Les murs” in Canadian dance clubs. Her popularity led to several ADISQ nominations at the 1993 awards, but it was her 1994 album, “Carpe Diem”, that truly launched her to international stardom. That album went gold in just three weeks, and spawned three top hit singles. It also earned two Felix awards for Fabian in 1995 Best Show of the Year and Best Female Singer of the Year and earned triple platinum status in 1995.
In the years since that breakthrough release, Fabian has accrued an impressive list of awards and honors from numerous countries and organizations around the world. Her honors include a 2000 Gold Medal from the organization Women to Women Across Borders, and a 2001 Juno award for Best Female Artist. Fabian caters to her international audience by singing in multiple languages at her concerts, and has released songs in Italian, English and French. Her latest effort, released in 2014, is a duet with Turkish artist, Mustafa Ceceli. The EP, released in Turkish, took the top position in physical sales and second place in digital sales in the Turkish market.
Fabian will be appearing in five cities in March and April 2015. The limited number of shows has put Lara Fabian tickets at a premium, and the secondary ticket market is humming with demand. ConcertBank currently lists tickets available for all five North American Lara Fabian shows, but the online ticket broker warns that availability is limited and all Lara Fabian ticket sales are first come first serve.
