Hushme has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the world’s first voicemask for smartphones. The company has brought on Funded Today to help encourage backers and bring in more pledges in the remaining weeks.About Hushme
Hushme is a standard Bluetooth headset with a few unique capabilities. It works in two modes: passive and active. When using normally as a headset, Hushme connects via Bluetooth to any smartphone and delivers quality sound. In passive mode, Hushme is locked over the mouth, using magnetic coupling. This method muffles sound and keeps conversations private and clear, utilizing the microphone built into the interior of the device. The active voice masking mode emits sounds over speakers on the outside of the device, muffling and hiding a speaking voice.
Pricing and Availability
Hushme is available to back now on Kickstarter. The company is hopeful that with the help of Funded Today, they will see an increase in pledges for the remaining three weeks of their campaign. Once the project ends, Hushme is set to be produced and shipped to all backers by December 2017. The starting price for one unit is $149.
