Millions of people suffer from and wonder how to stop emotional eating. The 12-week program helps people create a compassionate relationship with food, body and self. Through the program, participants learn to identify triggers and factors that can contribute to compulsive eating, both physical and emotional. The program aids members in understanding what causes emotional eating and teaches critical skills to heal an unhealthy relationship with food. It provides a long-term approach that focuses on behavioral and emotional change. The group therapy environment and process allows participants to benefit from the support and connection with others in similar situations. Together, with the help of a qualified therapist, group members learn how to heal emotional eating, binge eating, and compulsive overeating in a safe and compassionate place.

When asked about the Make Peace With Food program, Rachel Eddins said, “The struggle with food and weight can be a serious struggle. It’s much more than just calories in, calories out, or willpower. People can feel out of control with food or find themselves obsessing about food or their bodies. We know it doesn’t have to be this way. It is possible to transform your relationship with food. We developed the Make Peace with Food program to help people learn skills to heal their relationship with food from the inside out. The program helps clients address imbalances in mind, body and emotions that can contribute to emotional overeating. Through the program, women can begin a healthy, balanced relationship with food.”
