With the recent recession faced by corporate America, many corners were cut in an effort to save money, including the elimination of company picnics. However, as the economy takes positive turns, an increasing number of businesses are going back to the morale boosting, team-building forms of events. Hieronymus does advise party planners to reserve equipment ahead of time, as most company picnics fall in a similar time frame. "May-October are our busiest times of the year, so we definitely recommend calling ahead of time to reserve the equipment needed for a company function."
