The pickscome bundled in packs of 10 and are made with celluloid, a material that wascreated initially as a substitute for tortoise shell. Ceol Waves chose thecelluloid over the standard plastic pick because celluloid is known for itsnatural feel and its warm, fat tones. Celluloid picks come in a variety of thicknesses and Ceol Waves willoffer the medium grade initially as that thickness works equally well forstrumming and for articulate picking.
Ceol Waves plans to focus many of their future offerings on products that will begeared toward student musicians whether they are a part of their school band orhobbyists. One of Ceol Waves missions is to bring music back into publicschools whose programs have been lost due to budget cuts. To that end CeolWaves donates 1% of all sales to non-profit organizations designed to bring thearts back into public schools.
