HerbCrete is a new business and product line emerging from a partnership between Herb Nordmeyer and ToolCrete to product the finest stucco products available in the industry. Building on the experience of three generations of stucco scientists, Nordmeyer has developed a line of bagged stucco core mixes that put “all the goodness in the bag.” Leaving the commodity products (sand and cement) to be added on site, HerbCrete gives the professional more control for mix and color customization.HerbCrete will be available for sale online starting summer 2013 at HerbCrete.com and MortarSprayer.com. HerbCrete will be packaged in sealed 5-pound plastic storage bags and sold by cases consisting of 10 bags each. When commodity products are added, each 5-pound bag of HerbCrete will produce 3 to 3.5 cubic feet of stucco, giving more than a cubic yard of stucco per 50-pound case. The diverse lineup of HerbCrete includes mixes for many types of applications.
HerbCrete is designed to mix with Type I or Type II Portland cement and an appropriate stucco sand to produce a high-¬quality stucco. If rapid set is needed, Type III Portland cement may be used, but the working time is greatly reduced. For work in an area where sulfate resistance is needed, Type IV and Type V may be used.
