Greenville, SC (Issued February10, 2017) — When a dental patient told her hygienist at Palmer Distinctive Dentistry in Greenville, SC, about her 25 year-old grandson’s battle with lymphoma, Dr. John Palmer, in keeping with his long-time commitment to giving back to the community, took action.

Dr. Palmer announced that his practice is donating to young Zachariah Allis his own NuCalm® system, a stress intervention technology that helps people relax and fight stress. Fittingly, the heartfelt presentation will occur on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14, at 3:00 pm, at Palmer Distinctive Dentistry (134 Milestone Way, Greenville) Website: Palmer Distinctive Dentistry

Zach is a graduate of Letourneau University with an A. A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering. He enjoys creative writing, reading, Picross, and video games.

Since Zachariah had decided against chemotherapy, opting instead for holistic treatment, Dr. Palmer knew that NuCalm would be a great fit. Zach’s mom, Cheryl, says he looks forward to using the NuCalm during tests or sessions where he will need IVs or shots or have blood drawn, or just to de-stress at the end of the day.” Lymphoma is a treatable cancer that begins in the infection-fighting cells of the immune system, but treatment can be painful, and patients become anxious and depressed. NuCalm can relieve this.

In addition, Cheryl explains how Zach’s sister who has generalized anxiety disorder could also benefit from using the system: “It may help to calm her anxieties when going to the dentist or doctor, or even when things get too stressful for her at home. We look forward to learning more about NuCalm and trying it out.”

Dr. Palmer mainly uses NuCalm (the practice has three systems) to help dental patients relax during day surgery. He has also researched its excellent track record with cancer patients.

Dr. Palmer says, “I wish every guest was on Nucalm; everyone that uses it has a much more pleasurable dental experience, for them as a guest in our office, and for our dental team working on them. I am so glad we found a holistic alternative for sedating our guests that come in for treatment. Where there are certain advantages to traditional medicine, there are also a great many benefits that come from stepping outside the box.”

The practice has built a reputation as a visionary leader in holistic dentistry, also called biocompatible or biological dentistry — a philosophy in which care is provided with a health-conscious approach so the entire body benefits. At press time, Dr. Palmer is the first and only Certified NuCalm Provider (CNP) in South Carolina and in the Southeast. He joins the ranks of an elite group of dentists across the U. S., among the first to earn the prestigious new designation. Among his other affiliations, he’s a member of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine and the Holistic Dental Association. In addition to a large local following, Dr. Palmer’s patients come from as far away as Georgia, Virginia, Michigan and New Jersey.

The NuCalm system’s effectiveness has been proven by dentists who have helped more than 750,000 dental patients around the world to relax in the dental chair without drugs. It has also won positive reviews and a loyal following among cancer researchers, health care professionals and patients who find that NuCalm effectively helps patients and their families manage stress. One cancer researcher said, “NuCalm brings a 21st century technology and a whole new dimension of help. Over three decades, I have used a range of techniques and therapies to help patients manage stress, but none has provided consistently predictable and reliable outcomes –until now.” The NuCalm system’s MSRP is $5,995.

NuCalm uses chemistry, physics and neurophysiology to naturally bring the patient to a state hovering between sleep and awareness within 3 – 5 minutes. The system involves a topical cream, micro-current stimulation, the world’s most advanced neuroacoustic software, and an eye mask. There are no side- or after-effects.

Dr. Palmer and his team aren’t the only ones impressed with NuCalm’s results. At the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NuCalm was selected by Innovation & Tech Today for its Editor’s Choice Award, and ‘Best Healthcare Technology at CES.’ NuCalm earned a rare perfect 5.0 score from Dental Industry Shopper’s independent dental industry Product Evaluation Team. Professional sports teams, MMA fighters, pilots and business executives are among NuCalm’s loyal following. Motivational speaker /author Tony Robbins is a regular user. A new, more portable, consumer-friendly version of the system, ReNu, will be available in the Fall.
