When asked about the reasons behind creating this event, the host of the retreat, Jen Harwood, Motivational Speaker, Author, Business Coach and Founder of the Greatness Principle said:

“Having a vision is good and commitment to achieve the goal is important, however, the secret to achieving greatness is the team you surround yourself with. The reason for this is that greatness takes time and it takes long term support to hold your values, trust your instincts, and continue to move in the direction of success when life keeps distracting, interrupting and luring you away from your purpose and chosen direction. People have been asking for an event like this so they don’t have to read a book and figure it all out by themselves. In two days, participants will learn how to lead their business in a way that works for them, find the right support and how to work it to everyone’s advantage and how to keep it in place through the good and bad times of life. People can expect to re-connect to their vision, or create a new one. They will figure out why it hasn’t been happening to date and create strategies to move forward. This event is a pinnacle event where transformation happens and you can break free from the past”.

Having worked with over 1100 leaders in the last 15 years Harwood claims to have ‘cracked the code’ on what it takes for business owners and leaders to be great and her philosophy is “no-one ever becomes great and stays great, all by themselves”.
