Craig and Sheree D’Egidio, the proprietors/chocolatiers behind a chocolate franchise in Atlanta since 2002, are launching their new, independent chocolate business, called diAmano Chocolate.In conjunction with the new store the couple are introducing the launch of their ecommerce website making diAmano Atlanta Chocolate available for online ordering and shipment across the U.S.
The couple, who have been in the chocolate confections business for the last decade, are proud to announce the grand re-opening with a new name, newly renovated retail storefront, and fresh menu of unique handmade chocolate confections you will want to come in and try.
The name of their new business, diAmano, says it all:
“We came up with the name diAmano based on the Italian adjectives ‘di a mano: of hand’ and ‘di amano: of love’ and created our own word called diAmano: by hand with love. We feel that since everything we do is handcrafted with care and attention, that this name embodies who we are and what we stand for," said co-owner Craig D'Egidio. "We still hand dip all of our chocolates, unlike many other chocolate shops, and continue creating our own recipes for fresh made truffles and a variety of specialty confections. In addition, we also offer over 1,000 different customized shapes to make memorable impressions, for both personal and professional gifts."
Once a customer steps into diAmano Chocolate in Atlanta, he or she will be able to first smell the heady aroma of fresh chocolate and then see a wide array of gourmet chocolate confections including salted caramels, English butter toffee, and a plethora of ganache filled truffles and bon bons.
“We recently introduced a line of specialty chocolate bars that range from hazelnut, blueberry, sea salt and dark chocolate, to cherry, chipotle, ancho powder and dark chocolate, to peanut butter and cocoa nibs in milk chocolate," said co-owner Sheree D'Egidio. "The truffles that have our chocolate business so popular, have been taken to a whole new level of flavor: Strawberry balsamic, chili habanero, creamy coconut cream pie, and the decadent cherry cheese blintz."

In addition to rebranding the business, the Sandy Springs retail space has recently undergone a complete renovation, allowing for not only a more inviting shopping experience, but also a window into the production room. Customers can now watch these talented chocolatiers make the delicious product right before their eyes.
