GoTEK7 will have their new iPhone GPS case on display at IFSEC 2015. GoTEK7 believe their product has great potential within the lone market sector and will be of interest to parents.

GoTEK7 supply a wide range of innovative tracking devices that utilise GPS technology to track goods and people worldwide wide. The company will be exhibiting at IFSEC 2015, an event which brings together the entire security buying chain in one place. The IFSEC 2015 exhibition will be taking place on 16-18 June 2015 at the ExCeL London.

On their IFSEC exhibitor page GoTEK7 say, “Simple and cost effective with many years of experience behind us. Our engineering department is based in the north of France and we pride ourselves on the ability to simply build solutions that are difficult to find in the market place. From cash in transit to leather belts and much more, you will find our stand interesting and enjoyable. We look forward to meeting you.”

One of the products GoTEK7 will have on display at this years IFSEC exhibition is their new iPhone GPS tracking case. GoTEK7 spent three months testing various battery types and driving thousands of kilometres to develop their latest product. The company say they are initially launching for the iPhone5 but they do not envisage problems with Android and the larger iPhone 6.

On their iPhone case page GoTEK7 say they believe their iPhone case has great potential within the lone market sector. The company say there are currently many devices on the lone worker sector market but the major problem is they are another device that users have to take with with and something else that they need to charge. The company say that due to the growing number of children with smartphones they firmly believe their cases could be of benefit to parents.

One advantage of the GoTEK7 product over other iPhone GPS cases is that it has an internal battery which can be used to charge the phone itself, users just need to press the charge button on the case without the need for any cable or mains connection. GoTEK7 found the case battery to be their greatest challenge, after much testing they managed to squeeze 1700 Mah inside the case.

To reduce power consumption and prolong battery the company designed the GPS board to switch itself off automatically after 20 seconds of inaction, they introduced a feature called ‘log mode’ which allows the board to log all GPS positions whilst in motion and send past movements to the server at set intervals. The GPS can switch itself off when the phone is in use.

At just 84g the cases are relatively lightweight and come in a range of colours. The cases can be tracked in most countries via the GoTEK7 app and PC based software.
