Globalization brings major changes to all of us. One way of addressing this is to strengthen Gleitmo competitiveness in relation to international providers and other competitors in a market that is constantly developing.In order to provide new faster tribological tests, adhesive tests and sample coating with tribological lubrication films, Gleitmo have started developing a local capacity within these areas in order satisfy supplier needs around the continent.
Gleitmo now have the capability to do the following « in house »:
- Friction and wear testing in which can stimulate a range of operating conditions on X materials.
- Tensile testing on glued lap joints according to DIN1002.
- Surface roughness tests.
- Coating of bulk goods as well as larger parts with tribological films based on MoS2, graphite and PTFE.
