FutureShapers, LLC, a professional services firm providing transformational leadership development programs for executives, has announced a new offering for top tier organizational leaders who wish to lead, work and live more consciously. A team of senior executive coaches, with many years of experience, and possessing acute skills in mindfulness will be available as “consciousness coaches” through FutureShapers.Plans call for a “dream team” of senior executive coaches offering a variety of styles to be assembled, with FutureShapers co-founders – John Renesch and Tom Eddington - being the first to populate this team of master coaches. Renesch and Eddington have been in discussion with a number of their peers and are actively recruiting highly-skilled and aware professionals to fill out the Consciousness Coaching Team.
Consciousness coaching requires a big commitment by the executive who aspires to become more mindful and self-aware. The program is one year long and includes face-to-face and phone time where the consciousness coach and the executive come together in an intimate, trusting setting.
FutureShapers is also certifying coaches to lead executive peer groups whose members aspire to become more conscious as leaders. These groups are called “roundtables” and include 10-12 peers. Monthly meetings are facilitated by FutureShapers-Certified Roundtable Hosts. Members come together to support one another in being more mindful in the way they work, lead and live their lives.
One of the main premises of FutureShapers is that great leadership begins with personal wisdom and personal wisdom is a function of the consciousness the leader brings to the situation.
