After working for over 25 years as a loan officer for a mortgage financing firm, Christina Banks returns to the Florida treasure coast real estate industry.

Between 1982 and 2010, Christina Banks was a loan officer in home mortgages in Palm Beach County and eventually the Treasure Coast. During the financial crisis, when many lending institutions closed their doors, Banks decided it was a time for a change, returning to roots she established in real estate back in the late seventies.

Her expertise in lending has helped Christina Banks in this career transition. She explains, “After many years of assisting families finance their dream of home ownership it taught me to ask better questions and figure out what they could actually, comfortably afford”

Banks is able to work with her real estate clients and determine how much they would pre-qualify for with a bank and gives monthly payment examples to her buyer clients. She can also explain what advantages certain finance programs would offer them. “Of course I still request they talk to their bank or lender and obtain a formal pre-approval, but it helps them when I explain the purchasing process in general as well as time frames and potential pitfalls,” says Banks.

Christina Banks works with Florida Realtor Keller Williams Realty Inc. from both the Stuart and Palm City offices. She can be reached at 561-236-9428 or christin.banks@comcast.net. For more information visit the website at: www.treasure-coast-realtor.com
