In a bid to extend their offerings and make cosmetology a viable career for a wider range of people, Franklin Barber School have just added new affordable barber classes to their curriculum.
Franklin Barber School has been in the hair care education business for nearly 100 years (since 1915) and they’re not showing any signs of slowing down.
Due in no small part to their decades of experience in this field, they’ve become the go-to destination in Houston, Texas for entry level haircare education.
Students enrolled in new and existing classes have to complete a set of training classes in order to begin a licensed hairdressing career.
Classes cater to students interested in current and trendy haircuts. They also teach haircutting specifically tailored for Latinos, African Americans, and Asian clientele.
These classes are geared towards helping students become excellent barbers, instructors, or technicians, but that’s not all. Franklin Barber School also prepares students for the state board exams.
