Food4Patriots Donates One-Year Emergency Food Supply to Tennessee Food Bank

The Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee received a one-year supply of emergency food last week from Nashville, Tenn.-based Food4Patriots.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Food4Patriots of Nashville, Tenn., donated a one-year supply of emergency food to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

The supplier of emergency food suitable for long-term storage, survival and emergency preparedness, personally delivered the kit consisting of 1,800 servings of many of the following items:


  • Whey Milk

  • Mountain Man Granola

  • Apple Orchard Oatmeal

  • Blue Ribbon Cheesy Rice

  • Heartland’s Best Mashed Potatoes

  • Chocolate Pudding

  • Summer’s Best Corn Chowder

  • Liberty Bell Potato Cheddar Soup

  • Instant White Rice

  • Creamy Chicken Alfredo

  • Granny’s Homestyle Potato Soup

  • Creamy Beef Stroganoff

  • White Cheddar Pasta

  • Mixed Fruit Blend

  • Broccoli & Cheese Soup

  • Independence Hall Chicken Noodle Soup

  • Louisiana Au Gratin Potatoes

  • Traveler’s Stew



“Struggling to put food on the table for your family is a heartbreaking experience under ordinary conditions, but it becomes especially pronounced around holidays including Thanksgiving,” said Allen Baler, Partner at 4Patriots LLC.

Food4Patriots encourages people to be ready when the inevitable crisis occurs. The company’s 72-hour, four-week, three-month and one-year emergency food kits have shelf lives of up to 25 years. The food in these kits can be prepared in less than 20 minutes and requires only boiling water. It’s kept in easy-to-store Mylar pouches, which keep out air, moisture and light.
