Independent label marketplaces have become big business on the internet over the last five years, with sites like ASOS growing to become household names. This however was just the beginning, and Fashion Design Solutions, founded the fashion design consultancy in 2009, taking a more comprehensive approach to developing the future of fashion from the ground up. Starting as a marketplace, they quickly graduated to sourcing materials and manufacturing items on behalf of their freelance designers and now have a head office in the UK and a sourcing office in Turkey. This success has come from giving new labels the ability to hit the ground running, which has made them much loved by fashionistas and celebrities alike.As their client list continues to grow, their current successes still expand. Perhaps most notable is Judas Sinned, for whom Fashion Design Solutions design and source material, whose merchandise has been worn by Gaz & Scott on Geordie Shore, Peter Andrew, Mark Wright of The Only Way is Essex, Wayne Lineker and Calum Best.
They have no small amount of celebrity backers for their emerging labels, including Martyn Woolford of Millwall FC’s Dirty Angels, whose first collection launches on the site next months, Just Too Good, owed by Manchester United’s Wilfred Zaha, Serge Denims owned by Ollie Proudlock of Made in Chelsea, which will be stocked by Harvey Nichols, and 11 Degrees created by Gaz from Geordie Shore.
